Good Friday. Having watched the morning procession pass close to the Escuela de Cristo I doubled back into the centre of Antigua and shot some footage of the magnificent carpets and the many pedestrians buzzing around them. Those made predominantly of cut flowers and pine needles have to be kept moist until it is their turn to be trampled on by the purple penitents.
